* Place the Mini Aqualight fixture on top of aquarium cover so that the lamps provide maximum exposure of beneficial light to all inhabitants.
* Caution: Do not allow fixture to come into direct contact with water.
* Canopy Installation Note: Mini Aqualights produce heat and should not be placed inside canopies that are not well ventilated. Many canopies have an open back that allows air to flow through the canopy. Check to be sure that cool air flows through the canopy.
Additional Bulbs
* Due to request, we've added an extra option to select popular Hellolights brand bulbs!!! So if you want Hellolights True Actinic 03 or 6,500K Daylight bulbs, you can get them with the unit. (You will get the Coralife bulbs in the unit no matter what).
FAQ
Q. Do I have to use Coralife bulbs in these units, or will HelloLights bulbs fit?
A. HelloLights' 9W bulbs will work just fine in these fixtures. This will allow you to select from a greater range of bulbs to run in your tank, and allow you to customize the light to fit your tank needs.
Hellolights highly recommends the use of a ground fault circut interrupter with all of the lighting equipment we offer. With the correct installation and proper precautions taken you can avoid electrical shock or electrocutions.
