* Standard Mogul socket (E40) with mounting bracket.
* E39 bulbs works with E40 socket but not vise versa
* High quality, spring loaded contact inside the socket to insure the MH lamp makes a positive contact.
* Note: this bracket will NOT fit the following reflectors: 6 1/4", 14", 17", 23" Solo, 35" Solo.
* We recommend that you use this mounting bracket if you already have a
reflector (either parabolic or rectangular shape) and are trying to
attach a mogul base. The position of the metal "legs" allow you to
easily attach this bracket to a flat surface.
* Approximate dimensions: 4 3/8" wide base x 4 1/2" front to back, 4 1/4" high.
Note:
ALL Do It Yourself (i.e. "DIY") sockets, ballasts, parts, pieces, etc,
are sold as functioning parts alone. HelloLights will not warrant these
parts unless they are properly installed by a certified electrician.
Please be sure you know how to properly install all DIY items.
Warning:
Insufficient contact between any bulb and its socket can result in an
electrical arc, and possible damage to the bulb and socket. MAKE SURE
you have a firm contact with ALL:
Metal Halide HQI bulbs & sockets.
CF/VHO/HO/NO
fluorescent bulbs and sockets. Fluorescent bulbs should never be
operated if they are positioned at an odd angle in the socket, and
should be mounted perpendicular to the socket face.
