* We reccomend that you add the optional end cap stand offs for mounting. Without this piece the endcap cannot be mounted.

* Will fit T5 HO and NO lamps.
* Rubber o-ring to help protect socket from humidity and moisture from your aquarium.
* Sold in Pairs.
* The 2 piece design allows easy bulb replacement, as once the base is screwed into place, you only have to unscrew the the ring around the lamp to remove the bulb.

Warning: Insufficient contact between any bulb and its socket can result in an electrical arc, and possible damage to the bulb and socket. MAKE SURE you have a firm contact with ALL:
Metal Halide HQI bulbs & sockets.
CF/VHO/HO/NO fluorescent bulbs and sockets. Fluorescent bulbs should never be operated if they are positioned at an odd angle in the socket, and should be mounted perpendicular to the socket face.
